All the services and amenities at these parks are intended for small family groups and are first-come, first-served and available for use. The parks provide a range of facilities and playground equipment for children and adults. Restrooms are provided from 8 a.m. At most of the parks with play apparatus, to sunset.

For the general enjoyment of the people, the City of Campbell offers and manages a number of parks and public areas. Two of these parks have picnic areas which are accessible for individuals or groups to reserve.

Reservations are approved for Campbell residents up to 180 days in advance (170 days for non-residents), but not less than 10 days in advance of the date of use requested. Bookings can be made online or in person at the Campbell Recreation Department Office, 1 West Campbell Avenue # C-31, or during business hours by telephone (required for payment by VISA , MasterCard, Discover, American Express).

First Come, First Serve Picnic Areas

At nearly every park in Campbell, there are areas that allow picnics on a first come, first serve basis. At each table, these areas are built to accommodate 8-10 adults. At John D Morgan and Campbell Park, you can only use the stationary BBQs built into the picnic areas (no outside BBQs allowed). In addition, you must obtain a reservation / permit in order to have alcohol or a bounce-about (see details above about reserving a picnic space). Tables and chairs must not be dropped off at any time to establish a new or another picnic area in the park; only the tables and benches offered can be used.
