Trinity Presbyterian Church | 3151 Union Ave, San Jose, CA 95124, United States

This is a smaller church near Campbell, in the Cambrian Park district. Inside, the church has a lovely garden with a water fountain, a gazebo and a seating area.
The church itself has a smaller, more intimate congregational scale. At 9 and 10:30 am, there are two services, usually about 60-80 participants per service. The music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Usually, the 9am service is the more contemporary service with a band. Pastor Vincent, the pastor, is a very personable and welcoming approach.

Cambrian Park Baptist Church | 2030 Camden Ave, San Jose, CA 95124, United States

The Baptist Church of Cambrian Park has a rich past. CPBC was founded in 1952 and has been part of San Jose’s Cambrian Park culture for over half a century. Their mission as a church is simple: to act as a living witness to Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection in our society. Over the years, God has graciously preserved us and continues to bless the gospel work that goes forth from our church. They accept the inerrant Holy Bible’s absolute supremacy and authority as the very Word of God and therefore the only religion and law in both faith and practice. As the historical expression of our religion, we maintain The New Hampshire Baptist Confession of Faith, 1853. Their Statement of Faith summarizes Christian values that are important, demonstrates unity in Christ, and protects the church from error.

Parks, Schools & Other Points of Interest in Cambrian Community

Cambrian Community is also home to some amazing parks, schools, public libraries and schools for its citizens to enjoy. These facilities are all world-class, beautifully maintained and clean so residents of surrounding communities often visit to enjoy them. Here’s a short list all located in Cambrian Community:

Doerr Park | Potrero Dr &, Park Wilshire Dr, San Jose, CA 95124, United States

Doerr Park is a well-kept, tidy, safe park tucked away from busy streets and in a quiet neighborhood. A walking path through the park, four tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a basketball court, and two structures for playing. At the end of 2016, the area built for elementary children was revamped and has two towers with very long slides and places to climb. The frame is tall for the swings, and kids can swing really high. There are a few picnic tables, but reservations are not made in the park and people turn up first thing in the morning in the summer to stake their claim.

Houge Park | Twilight Drive & White Oaks Avenue, San Jose, CA 95124, United States

Hogue Park is a tidy, very well-maintained park with many shady areas, plus shade over much of the playground. There are 2 areas for games, one for ages 2-5 and one for ages 5 and up. A distinction between the two is enough that you have a (small) chance of keeping your toddler out of the big kid’s area. Right by the toddler area, there is a bathroom that is convenient and plenty of picnic tables.

Farnham Elementary School | 15711 Woodard Rd, San Jose, CA 95124, United States

As a California Distinguished School, Farnham School was honored. This award is given to the top 4% of the 5000 elementary schools in California. The needs of all children are met by our outstanding academic program. To create standards and to help us meet the evolving needs of all our students, we use benchmark testing. Farnham enrolls over 11% of its students from outside the borders of the Cambrian School District and, if they wish, requires individuals to be taught at Farnham. Farnham follows all the Policies and Procedures of the Cambrian School District Board as a dependent charter school.
